The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Bogdan Aurescu will make a visit to Moldova on June 17-18, at the invitation of his Moldovan counterpart Natalia Gherman. The visit is paid in connection with the taking over of the BSEC presidency by Romania, IPN reports.
According to a communique of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Romanian minister‘s program of the visit includes meetings with President Nicolae Timofti and Natalia Gherman. The discussions will center on Moldova’s European agenda, development of the bilateral dialogue, especially the strengthening of the commercial-economic exchanges, and assessment of the projects implemented in Moldova with Romania’s assistance.
The Romanian official will also take part in the opening of the Information Center of Romania in Comrat.
Natalia Gherman and Bogdan Aurescu will make statements for the press at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration on June 17, starting at 12:30pm.
