The vote for the new Government of Moldova is a step towards strengthening political stability, the Government of Romania says in a statement, IPN reports.
The Government of Romania is hopeful that the new executive in Chisinau will confirm, by political will and concrete actions, a solid and credible pro-European commitment that would lead to the comprehensive implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU. It also expresses its hope that the executive of Moldova will deepen reforms and will strengthen the rule of law and macro-economy for the benefit of all the people.
“At the same time, the formation of the Government creates the framework needed for decisively and immediately dealing with the internal challenges that accumulated in the recent past so as to meet the expectations of all the people of the Republic of Moldova,” says the statement.
Romania confirms its readiness to develop the bilateral Strategic Partnership and to accelerate the cooperation projects under implementation, which are for the benefit of the Moldovan people. Romania also reasserts its wish to support all the efforts made by the Moldovan authorities to implement the European agenda and reforms.
