Romanian ambassador on visit to parental house of President Dodon

Romania’s Ambassador in Chisinau Daniel Ionita on July 7 visited the parental home of President Igor Dodon at the invitation of the Head of State, following the reopening of the renovated kindergarten in Sadova village of Calarasi district, IPN reports.

“I guided him through the vineyard, the orchard and the cellar and showed to him how a Moldovan yard looks like. I said and will repeat – we should be friends as neighbors or as brothers and should help and respect each other, but should stay each at their own home. With such an attitude, both of the states will benefit from good relations during many decades ahead,” Igor Dodon wrote on his Facebook page.

The kindergarten in Sadova was renovated through the “Program of technical and financial assistance provided by the Government of Romania for preschool education institutions of the Republic of Moldova”, which is implemented through the Moldova Social Investment Fund. This is one of the over 900 kindergartens renovated all over Moldova within this project for which the Romanian Government allocated €26 million.
