Romania will raise the number of scholarships offered to school students of Moldova from 5,500 to 6,000 from the 2014-2015 academic year. The announcement was made by the President of Romania Traian Basescu in a news conference in Chisinau, IPN reports.
Traian Basescu said that Romania will continue to provide scholarship s for Moldovan school students. Also, there will be further organized the camp for Moldova students in Sulina, in the Danube Delta, as every year.
For the 2013-2014 academic year, the Government of Romania offered Moldova 5,500 scholarships for school and university students, by 500 more on a year before.
