The Republic of Moldova will receive 155,400 liters of diesel fuel, about 151,000 liters of gasoline and 5,000 tons of fuel oil from Romania. This was decided by the Romanian Committee for Emergencies Situations, IPN reports.
According to Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița, the assistance is granted to the Republic of Moldova following requests made to the Romanian Government and it is intended to make up for the deficit of resources due to the influx of Ukrainian refugees.
Also, according to the Prime Minister, the assistance from the Romanian government will reduce the impact of the energy crisis.
