Romania offers 2,000 scholarships for Moldovan students
The Romanian Government will offer Moldovan students 2150 scholarships for the 2011-2012 academic year. Ludmila Pavlov, head of the International Relationships and European Integration Department of the Moldovan Ministry of Education, has told Info-Prim Neo that the number of scholarships is the same as last year.
However, she doesn’t rule out that the Bucuresti Executive might provide extra scholarships, like last year.
So far, there are 1100 scholarships for license candidates, including 300 for graduates of Romanian lyceums. 950 scholarships are for admission to secondary education institutions.
The rest of the scholarships are for master’s degree studies (50) and for residency and PhD studies (25 each).
The Romanian side is finishing the mechanism and methodology of admission and the distribution of scholarships according to specialties and institutions.
