Romania is concerned about the disappearance of its flag from Tiganca cemetery

The Romanian authorities expressed their concern regarding the disappearance of the Romanian flag from the Honor Cemetery of Tiganca (Cantemir raion) within a meeting of the state secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Adrian Vierita with the representative of Moldova to Bucharest, Larisa Pasecinic. According to the Romanian foreign minister, the information presented on this occasion proved that Moldovan authorities regret this unpleasant incident, which has a totally isolated character. Specialized Moldovan authorities make efforts to solve as quickly as possible the situation so that such incidents would not happen again. As well, the Romanian ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Filip Teodorescu, asked the authorities from Chisinau to clarify the situation, the press release says. At the end of the last week, the flag of Romania from the courtyard was chopped into pieces. The guilty persons haven’t been found yet.
