Romania elections. Over 3,700 electors in Moldova voted by 11:40 a.m.

More than 3,700 people voted by 11:40 a.m. in the Romanian parliamentary elections at the 59 polling stations established in the Republic of Moldova. The voting process will take place during the day by 09:00 p.m. and on Sunday, between 07:00 a.m. and 09:00 p.m., IPN reports.



Voters aged 45-64 were the most active ones in Moldova. By 11:40 a.m., 1,465 voters of this age bracket had cast their ballots. The voters aged 18 to 24 were the least active ones - 66 citizens, according to the website prezenta.roaep.ro.

Romanian citizens who wish to vote in the elections for the Romanian Parliament must prove their residence abroad with a valid document of the state of residence and present one of several valid Romanian identity documents. These include: identity card, electronic identity card, provisional identity card, identity card, diplomatic passport, electronic diplomatic passport, service passport (including electronic), ordinary passport (including electronic), temporary passport, military service card in the case of students of military schools.


Sixteen polling stations are available in Chisinau and by two polling stations are open in Balti, Orhei, and Cahul.
