Romania donates 30 cars to Moldovan Police
The Romanian Ministry of the Interior donated 30 cars to the Moldovan police, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“We are doing this to stimulate better cooperation. It is normal that, when you want to help someone, you do this when he needs it. I’m glad we have the possibility to offer some concrete aid”, Minister Constantin Traian Iglas has said during the donation ceremony.
His Moldovan opposite number Victor Catana has praised Romania’s support in the processes of modernizing the police and Moldova’s European integration. Constantin Traian Iglas has said his side was willing to continue and develop new projects of collaboration between the two ministries.
On Friday, they signed the Shelter and Migration Cooperation Protocol which stipulates mutual information about migration statistics, implementing maintenance measures and common special operations.
