Romania donates 15 vehicles to Moldovan public institutions

The Government of Romania donated 15 Dacia Duster cars to public institutions of Moldova. The handover ceremony was held within Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta’s visit to Moldova, IPN reports.

The vehicles will be distributed to the Stefan-Voda District Hospital, the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service and the social institutions for grownups with psychosocial disabilities located in Cocieri village of Dubasari district. Among the beneficiaries are the reception centers in Balti town, Badiceni village of Soroca district and Branzeni village of Edinet district. A car will be given to the cultural-natural reserve Orheiul-Vechi.

In the event, Prime Minister Iurie Leanca said the vehicles will help the civil servants of Moldova to provide services much faster. He thanked his Romanian counterpart for the support.

Victor Ponta said there were brought 15 of the 50 vehicles that Romania will donate to the Government of Moldova. The vehicles include school buses.
