Rodica Antoci resigns from the chairmanship of the National Integrity Authority (ANI) as of April 1, IPN reports.

Together with another ANI employee, Rodica Antoci is under investigation on abuse of office charges. In January, her home and office were searched and subsequently she was formally charged.

On March 18, Antoci was suspended from her job by the Integrity Council. She described her suspension as being “against the law” and said she was determined to prove her innocence in domestic courts as well as international ones, if need be.
