Roberto Bordin parted company with the national football team of Moldova. The contract of the 56-year-odl Italian coach expired today, November 30, IPN reports.
Bordin scored only one victory as the coach of Moldova during 12 matches. The only success was achieved in the friendly against Azerbaijan. In the 2022 World Cup qualifying competition, Moldova ranked last with one point.
Sergiu Kleshchenko, who assisted Roberto Bordin, is likely to become the new manager. In March, Moldova is to play two games against Kazakhstan for keeping the place in Group C of the UEFA Nations League.
