A businessman and his family lived terrifying moments last night when three men wearing balaclavas entered their house in Sangerei and tried to rob them using a hot iron.

Ruslan Sternitchi, deputy head of the Sangerei Police, told IPN the three men tied the family members and threatened the spouses with a hot iron demanding money. Eventually the robbers left with nothing, as the victims didn't keep any money at home.

When found, the men will face up to 8 years in prison and a potential fine of up to 20,000 lei.
