The billboards placed by the roadside that will not meet the legal norms will be taken away at the owner’s expense, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure. According to the Ministry, the billboards set up by the roadside contribute to higher risks of road accidents, worsen the road traffic conditions and hinder the works to rehabilitate and maintain the roads. The Ministry offered almost two months until December 25 for taking the billboards away or authenticating the documents allowing placing billboards.
