The roads in Tiraspol are to be inventoried. The Transnistrian press reported that the heavy snow and the ice damaged the roads considerably, Info-Prim Neo reports. A special commission consisting of representatives of the competent division, in concert with the traffic police and the company that will carry out the repair works, will determine the volume of work and the costs that will be incurred. About 140 million Transnistrian rubles (159m lei) is needed at the initial stage, but the sum budgeted by the authorities of Tiraspol for the purpose is 10 times lower. The costs may decrease if the materials that will be used to repair the roads are bought in the Transnistrian region, not in the neighboring countries.
