A number of road sections in seven northern districts of Moldova remain blocked because of snow, the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service has said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. According to the latest information coordinated with mayor’s offices, road sections in 14 settlements are blocked, including in Pervomaiscoe village of Floresti district, Furceni village of Orhei district, Floriceni village of Soroca district, and the villages Cotovca, Lipovanca, and Tambula of Sangerei district, Petrosul Nou in Falesti, Cioropcani, Bulhac, Stolniceni, Buciumeni and Floresti in Ungheni, and in Ignatei and Saharna of Rezina district. According to the State Hydrometeorology Service, the temperatures will drop to -20°C in the northern districts on the night of January 11. There will be snow in parts of the country on January 11 and 12.
