Road marking works have started in the capital city, acting head of the municipal road maintenance company “Exdrupo” Adrian Boldurescu announced in the April 17 meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, IPN reports.

According to Boldurescu, the paint that will be used this year is more resistant than that applied the previous years and can resist up to 6,000 crossings. Expectedly, the works will be completed in mid-June. About 6 million lei was earmarked in the municipal budget for the purpose.

In the future, the authorities intend to use bicomponent road marking paint, but will first hold a tender contest to choose the business entity that will execute the works.
