Two persons were killed in traffic accidents on October 6. Twelve persons were injured, Info-Prim Neo reports. Tudor Capatana, spokesman for the General Police Commissariat, said that the first fatal accident happened near Beriozchi village of Anenii-Noi district at about 13.30. A 37-year-old woman from Tiraspol town lost control of the car and crashed it into a tree. The 73-year-old passenger died on the spot, while the woman was taken to the hospital in Anenii Noi with multiple bodily injuries. A woman aged 59 was killed after she was struck by a car on Alexandru cel Bun Street in Ialoveni town. The car was driven by a 25-year-old man. Seven passengers of a minibus running on route No.115 in Chisinau were slightly injured when a Mercedes car collided with the minibus at the intersection of Bucharest and Vasile Alecsandri streets. The minibus was driven into an electricity post. The passengers, four of whom students, suffered contusions of the soft tissues and excoriations. Three persons were hurt in an accident on Moscova Blvd. in Chisinau. A car driver by a 24-year-old man crashed into a minibus. The driver and two passengers of the cars sustained injuries.
