A person has died and another two have been injured after a taxi driver ran into their group standing on the sidewalk of Florariei street from Chisinau. Coordinator doctor of the Emergency service from Chisinau, Ludmila Untura, told Info-Prim Neo, that the accident has occurred at 9.15 pm on Florariei Street, 1, near to a bar. A woman aged 52 died on the spot and another woman aged 42 suffered a fracture to her leg, while a 34-year-old man received injuries and intracranial hemorrhage. Police refused to give additional details about the circumstances of the tragedy. Exactly at the same hour, a 30-year-old man was hit by a Volkswagen-Golf on Calea Basarabiei Street. He was hospitalized in the rehabilitation section of the Emergency Hospital with multiple injuries, including open shank fracture. Ten minutes later, at 9.25, a 21-year-old intoxicated young man, was hit by a BMW-525 car on Gagarin Boulevard. The victim has a right leg fracture. Another young man aged 20 was hospitalized with mental shock after he was hit by a Mercedes-208 minibus, route 102, at the crossroad of Lacului and Vasile Alecsandri streets.
