Two men were killed in a traffic accident near Harbovatul-Vechi village of Anenii-Noi district on Monday evening, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Traffic Police Division. The 50-year-old driver of a KAMAZ truck with trailer lost control of the vehicle on the wet road. The truck crashed into a lamp post. The driver and the passenger aged 54 died on the spot. Three persons received serious injuries in a road accident that happened on Varnita St in Chisinau. A BMW car skidded and went into a lamp post. The 32-year-old driver sustained a cranial-cerebral trauma, concussion, a fracture of the right forearm and multiple bruises, while the two passengers aged 25, who were under the influence of alcohol, suffered cranial-cerebral traumas and fractures. A pregnant woman aged 26 was rushed to the Emergency Hospital with cranial-cerebral trauma and imminence of premature birth after she was struck by a car near Ialoveni town. The five traffic accidents that occurred in Moldova on Monday resulted in two deaths and six persons injured.
