Two persons were killed and five more, including a two-year-old child, seriously injured in a traffic accident on the Piscareni-Gauzeni route on Tuesday. The accident happened 750 meters from the entrance to Samascani village of Soldanesti district, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Ministry of the Interior. According to the Ministry, a women aged 45 was driving a VAZ at high speed. The car made a u-turn and collided head-on with another car driven by a 26-old-resident of Soroca town. As a result of the collision, two occupants of the cars – a woman aged 49 and a man aged 56 - died. The drivers and three passengers, one of whom a two-year-old child, were taken to the hospital in Soldanesti town with different injuries. Police are blaming the accident on reckless driving.
