“Revolution” in Bessarabia thwarts Traistariu’s plans to film video with Gordienco

After successfully representing Romania at Eurovision, singer Mihai Traistariu said he would like to participate in the contest once again and did not rule out that he could represent Moldova. “I was contacted by a number of composers from Bessarabia, including Alexandru Brasoveanu, who send me several songs,” Traistariu said in an interview for Info-Prim Neo. The offers from Moldova seemed interesting to him, but did not make him to try his luck again at Eurovision. “I was lucky to have a song like “Tornero”,” said Mihai Trastariu. “The Moldovan singer at the contest this year, Nely Ciobanu, was very good and the people liked her more than the Romanian singer, but she did not rank among the first ten, though she deserved,” the soloist said. Traistariu considers that one should have something special to win Eurovision. “Everybody sings well at Eurovision, but something of a shock is needed for all the countries to vote for you, not only the neighbors.” However, it is the song that counts the most. During three years, the singer has looked for a new song that would be better than “Tornero”. He tries to write music himself. Meanwhile, Mihai Traistariu has prepared a new album, a new single and a new video. The tenth album is called “Love" and includes 18 new songs. It will be launched soon. The video is for the song "Puerto Rico", sung in Spanish and English. The music and verses were written by Dony & The Kid and Mihai Traistariu. It was filmed in Mamaia resort. The singer also plans to go on a tour of Moldova together with Natalia Gordienco and make a video with her. “In fact, “the revolution” in Bessarabia thwarted our plans, but I’m sure that everything will return to normality and we will implement this project successfully,” Mihai Traistariu said.
