The results of admission to the first school grade will be made public on June 23. The same day, there will be posted the number of places that remained vacant after the enrolment of children from the given district.

Contacted by IPN, Elena Vorotneac, communicator of the Chisinau Education, Youth and Sport Division, said the first stage of admission to the first grade takes place between April 1 and June 9. On June 23, there will be announced the number of vacancies in each school district.

The second admission stage will be held during August 1-24 and the final list of enrolled children will be posted on August 25.

The application for enrolment is submitted to the education institution and should contain the parent’s application, copies of the child’s birth certificate and the parent’s identity card, the child’s medical certificate, two photos of this and a report on the child’s development at the end of the preparatory stage in kindergarten or the decision of the district or municipal schooling commission about school maturity.
