The institutional restructuring of the National Public Broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova” may result in cuts of up to 20% in the personnel, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the chairman of the institutions’ Supervisory Board Eugeniu Rybka. According to him, the Supervisory Board recently examined a relevant reformation project. “The given project is to be finalized by the president and the television and radio directors by December 20 so that it is submitted to the Supervisory Board for approval,” said Eugeniu Rybka. Currently, “Teleradio-Moldova” employs over 900 persons. After the layoffs, there will be about 750 employees. Eugeniu Rybka avoided saying which of the posts will be cut, stressing more details will be made public after the reformation project is ready.
