Together with the issuing of a red alert for COVID-19, the access of visitors to health facilities and placement centers will be banned. The public eating places will organize the activity at maximum capacity outdoors and at half capacity indoors, with the obligation for all the clients to present the COVID-19 certificate at the entrance. The new measures adopted by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission take effect on October 1, 2021, IPN reports.
Minister of Health Ala Nemerenco in a news conference said a red alert will be issued if the incidence of COVID-19 cases will be 250 cases and up per 100,000 people for the last seven days cumulatively.
In such a case, the general education institutions will work as usual, with the physical presence of students in classrooms, while the vocational and higher education institutions will apply online learning. The public and private entities will organize a remote work regime or a differentiated work program.
The private events, such as wedding parties, baptizing ceremonies and other festivities, will be held with the participation of at most 100 persons indoors and 150 persons outdoors by ensuring an area of at least two meters for each person and with the obligation for these persons to present a COVID-19 certificate.
Based on these indicators, the National Public Health Agency is obliged to publish the alert level for the country and for the territorial-administrative units Chisinau municipality, Bălţi municipality and ATU Gagauzia each Monday.
