Resident doctors will be paid salaries even if they receive a scholarship. Parliament adopted a bill to this effect, which was endorsed by the competent parliamentary commission, in the final reading, IPN reports.

The bill provides that the graduates of medical education institutions will be able to receive special advanced training and will be simultaneously employed and paid salaries.

The bill authors said the legislation didn’t clearly specify who and in what conditions can work as resident. The legislative initiative fills this gap and complements the Law on the Work of Doctor.
