The inhabitants of Chisinau can ask to be connected to the centralized heating system before the municipal authorities issue an order to begin the heating season. For the purpose, the apartment building manager must make sure that all the works to prepare the internal system were carried out and must submit an application to the local office of SA “Termoelectrica”. The process is explained in a video clip made by the heat supplier, IPN reports.

SA “Termoelectrica” director general Veaceslav Eni told a news conference that the company is ready to start the supply of heat. Thus, after registering the application, the company’s specialists will check if the block can be connected to the heat supply and will connect it. The procedure does not exceed three hours. To simplify the procedure, the managers are requested to present beforehand the passport showing that the preparatory works were performed.

“Termoelectrica” director said that in order to provide a service of a high quality, a series of works to prepare the system for the cold season were executed throughout summer. There were rehabilitated the heat pipes and replaced the old ones. The Thermoelectric Plant No. 1 was modernized. To be closer to the consumers, a “Viber” number was launched and the Open Doors Day was staged. There was also conducted a communication campaign to inform about energy efficiency measures to modernize the heat and hot water supply infrastructure.
