A woman aged 37 from Suruceni village of Ialoveni district needed the assistance of firemen as she fell into a five-meter deep hole in the villas sector and could not get out. It happened in the evening of June 18. Eyewitnesses called the 901 service, IPN reports.

According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, employees of the Ialoveni Rescuers and Firemen Unit took the woman out in about 15 minutes. This was taken to the Ialoveni District Hospital for medical care.

An investigation is under way. In connection with this case, rescuers warn to be maximally prudent so as to avoid situations of risk that can endanger life.
