A one-year-old child got stuck inside a car in Orhei town after his mother forgot the keys on the dashboard before getting out of the vehicle. When the woman intended to take her child, the car door locked, and the kid remained alone inside. The woman called the 112 Service for help. The rescuers promptly intervened and unlocked the car door, and the child was taken out safely, IPN reports.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the rescuers intervened quickly and efficiently and, thanks to the immediate call and prompt intervention of the specialized teams, the child did not suffer.
The Inspectorate reminds that it is important to act quickly in case of emergency situations and urges parents and those who take care of minors to be vigilant and ensure permanent supervision of children in order to prevent such risks.
In emergency situations or risk to life and safety, the citizens are advised to call the single emergency number 112 as soon as possible.
