Rescuers are pitching anti-heat rehabilitation points in the five districts of Chisinau as well as in Cahul district, Balti municipality and UTA Gagauzia. The people can go to these points to drink water and to protect themselves from the sun. If necessary, the rescuers will give first aid, IPN reports.

The tents are put up in places with a higher flow of people. In Botanica district, the tent was pitched on Dacia Blvd, in Centru near the Central Market, in Rascani near the market “Matei Basarab”, in Buiucani at 1 Calea Iesilor St, while in Ciocana at 18 Ginta Latina St.

Forecasters issued a yellow code advisory that is in force until July 1. Daytime temperatures in most part of the country will rise to 33 degrees Celsius and up. In the period, the risk of vegetation and forest fires will be higher.
