The judges rejected the claim of “Avia-Invest” against the Public Property Agency by which this asked to annul the termination of the contract to concede the Chisinau International Airport as unfounded. A decision to this effect was taken by the Râșcani Court of Chisinau, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the institution.

The Public Property Agency on July 8, 2020 notified SRL “Avia Invest” of the termination of the contract to concede the assets of the Chisinau International Airport because the company didn’t honor the contractual obligation to present the guarantee of proper fulfillment of the investment commitments. In reaction, “Avia Invest” made a preliminary request to annul the termination notification, but this was rejected by the Public Property Agency. As a result, the company filed a lawsuit.

The court judgment is not yet final. “Avia Invest” can challenge it in the Chisinau Appeals Court.
