Representatives of political parties claim CEC members do not register complaints
Political parties signal out breaches in the poll, while representatives of the Central Election Commission (CEC) maintain there are no major violations, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the PCRM representatives at the CEC, Sergiu Sarbu, the right to vote with the mobile ballot box was violated at a hospital in Chisinau. The PCRM claims the rights of some observers are also breached, as they are not allowed to go with the mobile box.
PDM representatives Andrei Volentir accuses the CEC of not registering all the complaints submitted by parties. He says there are still electoral posters in places in Chisinau. At a polling station, two men started to fight, since one of them was registered as living in the other's house.
Roman Andries from the PL says, in the villages of Larguta, Drepcauti and Caracusenii Vechi of Briceni district, the mayors (PCRM representatives) are in the premises of polling stations and talk with voters.
The PLDM has traced severe violations in Donduseni, Cernoleuca village, where the PCRM brought 18 tonnes of wheat and distributes it to voters. In Cahul district, no ballot boxes were ordered for detainees, and in Falestii Noi, the mayor keeps the ballot boxes in his safe, and distributes them to polling stations according to their needs. In Rascani, the district president came to a polling station with 100 applications for the mobile box.
CEC secretary Iurie Ciocan claims the complaints cannot be accepted without evidence. He says no major breaches able to influence the unfolding of the elections have been tracked.
