Private economic entities and state institutions will be able to report online to the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) and the National Social Insurance House (CNAS), Info-Prim Neo reports. The e-reporting service launched on February 18 enables the bookkeepers and persons responsible for human resources to report to the CNAM and CNAS without using paper. With the help of mobile signature, the reports can be loaded and sent to the two authorities. Representatives of the e-Government Center assure that the reporting and mobile signature are safe. Attending the launch, Prime Minister Vlad Filat said the idea of switching to e-Government appeared in 2010. “We then started to speak about this objective very timidly. This service will help save time and money, while the people will avoid the obstacles that lead to acts of corruption. As I mentioned earlier, the computer cannot be bribed,” he stated. Vlad Filat also said that this service will offer equal conditions to economic entities, which, regardless of their relations of friendship with a party or an institution, must pay taxes fairly. The implementation of the e-reporting service was possible owing to the financial support from the World Bank. World Bank Country Manger for Moldova Abdoulaye Seck said during the event that by this service the CNAS and CNAM can make considerable savings on resources and use them for other necessities. According to him, the WB will continue to support the Government it is efforts to ensure better living conditions for the people. By the e-reporting service, about 45,000 economic entities will report quarterly to the CNAS, while 120,000 companies will report annually to the CNAM and about 90,000 reports will be sent to state institutions.
