The Central Election Commission scheduled repeat elections for July 15 in Bobeica commune and Dancu village, Hancesti district. In both settlements the residents will elect their mayors. Also, CEC has to set the date for the repeat elections to be held in Mihaleni, Rascani district, but the final decision was postponed because the strongbox of the Mayoralty of this settlement, containing the voter rolls, was stolen. The safe was found burnt in a lake in Glodeni district. On July 1, 2007, repeat elections were organised in two settlements in Moldova – in Buteni village, Hancesti district, and in Zorile village, Orhei district.
