Repeat mayoral elections in Cioresti village, Nisporeni district, will take place on August 7, as decided by the Central Electoral Commission, Info-Prim Neo reports. CEC approved the electoral stamp “Local elections 07.08.2011”. The second round of elections in Cioresti, which took place on June 19, was annulled by the Nisporeni Court because of infringements of the Election Code; the Court of Appeals in Chisinau upheld the initial ruling.
