The acting Cabinet of Ministers will allocate over 544,000 lei from the state budget to be paid in reparations for the assets seized, nationalized or taken by different methods from the victims of political repressions, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Finance, based on the decisions of specialized commissions of the central public administration, will allot funds to the district councils of Ocnita, Straseni and Taraclia. In turn, the local authorities will pay reparations to 7 victims of political repressions.

If the victims had been deprived of goods whose value is under 200,000 lei, the reparations will be paid in installments over 3 years. Otherwise, the period will be extended to 5 years.

The state budget for 2014 provides 20,5 million lei for expenses in this regard.
