A sum of 25 million lei was allocated from the municipal budget for repairing 108 kindergartens in Chisinau municipality. The repair works will start during the first days of June. An order to this effect was signed by deputy mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu, acting mayor, IPN reports.

In 61 institutions, there will be repaired the cooking facilities, while in 53 institutions the sanitary facilities. The playing pavilions will be reconstructed in 28 kindergartens. Ruslan Codreanu specified that the sum of 25 million lei is additional to the amounts allocated for repair works in 2018.

Parents can contribute to repair works in group rooms with amounts of several hundred lei, as the parents associations decide.

In the municipality of Chisinau, there are 159 kindergartens that are attended by 38,500 children.
