The underground passage situated on Alecu Russo St in Ciocana district of Chisinau is being renovated as of today.  Video surveillance cameras will be set up there. The walls will be painted with pictures of the city and of Ciocana district, IPN reports.

In a press release, the Chisinau City Hall said the works to rehabilitate the underground passage on the Viaduct are 95% ready, while on the passage located at the intersection of Alecu Russo St and Moscova Blvd in Râșcani district are over 50% ready. The tunnel located at the intersection of Dacia Blvd and Teilor St is also under repair.

Three more underground passages in Buiucani district of Chisinau will start to be repaired soon. The rehabilitation works are executed with the assistance of business entities.
