Renato Usatyi was reelected as president of the Political Party “Our Party” (PPPN) in the sixth congress of the party that was held in Balti on February 2, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the PPPN, the meeting of party’s supreme body involved 531 delegates from all Moldova’s districts, including mayors and local councilors elected on the party’s ticket, candidates for MP and activists of the PPPN, supporters, representatives of civil society, etc.
Renato Usatyo presented a report through Skype. He called on the citizens of the Republic of Moldova to vote for the PPPN in the national constituency and for its candidates in single-member constituencies. The politician noted that his return home depends on each vote given to the PPPN.
“My return home depends on the vote and civic position of each of you. If we garner a large number of votes in the parliamentary elections, together with other political parties that are really parties of the opposition, we will manage to obtain the prosecutor general’s dismissal and will be able to speak about a new Government and to remove all the dirt that accumulated in the institutions of the power,” stated Renato Usatyi.
In the congress, there were presented the party’s candidates for MP in the national constituency and in single-member constituencies.
