The ruling coalition intends to sell the state-owned “Moldtelecom” and “Moldova’s Railways” at derisory prices. As a result of this transaction, they will appropriate huge sums of money. Such statements were made by the leader of the political party “Our Party” (PPPN) Renato Usatyi in the talk show “Politics” on TV 7 channel, IPN reports.

According to Usatyi, the two companies already started to sustain losses. Such a situation was created artificially in order to bring them close to bankruptcy. “Intense work is now done to cause the bankruptcy of the two companies. The European partners are dissatisfied with this. This information was communicated to me by a European ambassador, who asked me to make it public so as to alert the people and prevent somehow this dubious business. The railroads and the airport are strategic facilities that cannot be sold,” stated the leader of the PPPN.

In the same program, the newly elected mayor of Balti municipality made political forecasts. “I think that a government coalition will be formed and Iurie Leanca will be named as head of Government.  Plahotniuc cares a lot for Candu to sacrifice him in the post of Premier. Voronin will have no way out and will vote. Plahotniuc aims to obtain the post of head of state. Not for money, because there is nothing more to be stolen, but to achieve his ambition. He wants to meet with state leaders from other countries on equal terms and to be photographed near them. But after the future parliamentary elections, no matter when they take place, Plahotniuc and Filat will be removed from politics. Filat will be jailed owing to the efforts made by Plahotniuc, who will thus try to emerge clean. But the European partners will not allow Plahotniuc to remain in politics,” he stated.

Renato Usatyi considers that he will hold the post of mayor of Balti for four to eight years. “In at least four years and at most eight years, I will become head of state. If not, I will withdraw from politics,” he said.
