The passing year was successful for the Political Party “Our Party” (PPPN) that appeared this year. Now the PPPN is the only political organization “pro-Moldova”. Such statements were made by the party’s leader Renato Usatyi in a summing up new conference, IPN reports.
The chairman of the PPPN noted that even if his party was registered only by the third attempt in the first half of the year, it wasn’t clear if it would be able to take part in the local general elections. However, after being registered, it took part in the election campaign, mobilized and won 674 posts of local and district councilors, with the members of the PPPN becoming mayors in 12 towns.
The politician said that 2015 was generally a hard year owing to the political crisis, the fall of several Governments and more information revealed about the ‘theft of the century’ committed in the banking system. Next year the party aims to strengthen its ranks and the leader of the PPPN is convinced that next autumn there will be early parliamentary elections and his party will win a considerable number of seats in them.
