Removal of billboards from streets M. Viteazul, Petricani and Vadul lui Voda commences
Businesses that have outdoor advertisements that were installed, with or without authorization, on streets Mihai Viteazul, Petricani and Vadul lui Voda, must uninstall and remove them in the next three days. Otherwise, the capital’s City Hall will remove them forcibly, reports Info-Prim Neo.
According to a communique from the City Hall, the authorizations for building and placing outdoor ads, which issued to the respective advertisement agencies, are being annulled. A order in this sense was signed by Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca, and concerns 20 businesses.
The measure was taken due to the reparation works, along with the extension of the road and management of sidewalks on the aforementioned streets.
In case of non-compliance to the City Hall’s request, the billboards from those streets will be forcedly uninstalled and removed by municipal servicing companies, in collaboration with Buiucani, Riscani, and Ciocana District Heads’ Offices.
Previously, the Mayor ordered the removal of billboards that had been illegally installed along the City Gates – Airport road segment. The ads of the agencies that did not follow the order were forcibly removed by the City Hall.
