Christians can go to the Vera, Nadejda, Liubovi and their mother Sofia church from Chisinau to see the relics of holy martyrs Ciprian and Iustina and of Holy Spiridon of Trimitunda, brought from the Hancu monastery, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the official web page of bishop Peter of Hancesti, before reaching the church, the relics stayed for one day at the orphanage “Saint Joseph” in Buiucani district of Chisinau. His Holiness Peter reminds of the healing power of the relics upon the souls and bodies of the ones venerating them, asking to have their diseases cured. The bishop says the relics will stay in Chisinau till November 5, as the doors of the church will remain open till late in the evening. Before a martyr, Ciprian was a philosopher and wizard in Antioch. He was converted to Christianity by Iustina the Virgin. He then was baptized and burning his witchcraft books, he started to believe in God. As they were preaching the Christian teachings, the bishop Ciprian and Iustina the Virgin were caught by the governor of Damascus who ordered to cut their heads.
