Relatives of persons killed in road accident in Hungary to receive assistance from Government
The relatives of the persons who died or were injured in the traffic accident in Hungary on August 23 will receive informational, logistic, legal and, if necessary, financial assistance from the Government, Prime Minister Vlad Filat announced on August 25.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Iurie Leanca said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration is ready to help the relatives obtain visas to travel to Hungary and see the four Moldovans hospitalized there. He added the consular service intervened and asked that these persons be provided adequate medical care.
A vehicle will go to Hungary to bring the coffins with the bodies of the six Moldovans who were killed in the accident to Moldova.
Iurie Leanca also said that the consular service is disposed to help the relatives of those killed and injured in the accident to access legal services so that their interests are protected in accordance with the European norms.
