It’s early to think about the accession to the European Union, but this does not mean that this event will never happen, adviser in the German Bundestag Reinhard Krumm said in the talk show “Friday with Anatolie Golea” on RTR Moldova channel, IPN reports.
According to Krumm, Moldova passed already through the first stage of transformations and a new stage follows, which is much more difficult. “Moldova made considerable progress as it is not so easy to obtain the status of EU associate. Now you will have to take a much more serious exam and you must be ready. Let’s take the example of Poland, where the governments changed every year while the country was going through this stage. Are you ready for this too?” asked Krumm.
According to the German adviser, Moldovan society, which is powerfully divided by the geopolitical orientations, is faced with the challenge of choosing the further development course. “It is a big dilemma. It is a challenge and you must decide where you want to go. And the decision must be a correct one so that you do not regret it in ten years,” stated Krumm.
