A number of 42 streets in Chisinau haven’t been extensively repaired for over 25 years. Their rehabilitation will cost the municipal authorities 1.2 billion lei. The information was provided by the head of the General Transport Division Adrian Boldurescu in the February 11 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, Info-Prim Neo reports. Stefan cel Mare Blvd. hasn’t been completely repaired for 39 years, Vasile Alecsandri St for 34 years, while 31 august St for 40 years. Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca ordered designing a map of the streets that are in need of urgent extensive repair.
