A special commission, composed of representatives of the factions from the Municipal Council, will recommend to the Council to withdraw the issue regarding the Regulation and Structure of the Municipal department for Children’s Rights Protection from the agenda of Thursday meeting. The commission will require the councilors’ agreement in order to continue its activity and to examine the activity of the accommodation centers. The Municipal Council has postponed twice the approval of the Regulation and the Structure of the mentioned Department. At the last meeting, the councilors have created the special commission in order to examine more detailed the activity and the structure of this department. The chairman of the special commission, Oleg Cernei, says that „there are certain interests towards this municipal subdivision”. The head of the Municipal Department for Children’s Rights Protection, Svetlana Chifa, notes that the discussions on its structure take place on the ground that her dismissal is wanted. Svetlana Chifa mentioned that she is not ready to give names now, but she was warned about her possible dismissal. The commission will propose to discuss the issue concerning the Municipal department for Children’s Rights Protection in autumn, until the National Agency for Child and Family Protection is created. The special commission took this decision at one of its meetings.
