The registration of residence does not offer the persons the right of ownership over the dwelling, the head of the General Inspectorate for Migration Mihai Vodă specified for the host families in connection with a call to Ukrainian refugees who are in Moldova to legalize their stay by applying for temporary protection, residency or asylum, IPN reports.

In a news conference, Mihai Vodă said the registration of residency enables to keep records of the foreigners who are in Moldova. If the person changes the address, this should inform the General Inspectorate for Migration about this fact within ten days.

Mihail Vodă also said that the inflow of Ukrainian migrants is now stable and there are no major inflows. There are about 100,000 migrants on the territory of Moldova.
