Registration of national producers for contest-exhibition “Made in Moldova” goes on
The national companies continue to file applications to be registered as participants in the ninth national universal exhibition “Made in Moldova” that will take place at Moldexpo between January 27 and 30, 2010, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Chamber of Trade and Industry, which organizes the exhibit under the aegis of the Government of Moldova.
“Companies representing the most important sectors of the national economy will be participating in the exhibition. They will organize presentations, launches of products and services, tasting events and contests,” said Marina Petrova, the head of the Exhibitions and Fairs Division of the Chamber of Trade and Industry. The exhibit “Made in Moldova” became an important part of the program aimed at supporting and promoting the Moldovan companies.”
According to the Chamber, more than 1,400 companies operating in most of the country's districts took part in the exhibition last year. It is visited yearly by over 40,000 persons. The exhibition will bring together representatives of the public authorities, company managers, scientists, delegations of businessmen from Romania, Ukraine, Belarus etc.
The exhibit will include the contest “Gold Medal of the National Exhibition “Made in Moldova”, which was launched in 2009. “The winners of the contest are allowed to use the logotype of the contest on the package of their products free of charge during two years,” Marina Petrova said.
Earlier, the Government of Moldova announced that the number of contests held as part of the exhibition will be reduced owing to the lower budget for organizing the event.
