The refugee citizens from Ukraine will be able to access the reproductive health services included in the unified mandatory health insurance program. The costs will be fully covered by the United Nations Population Fund, IPN reports.
It its meeting on Thursday, the Commission for Exceptional Situations also decided that the Ukrainian citizens can apply to the Bureau for Migration and Asylum for the temporary residence permit without presenting the criminal records certificate. Only an own responsibility statement on absence of criminal records will be signed when submitting the application.
Since the Russo-Ukrainian war broke out, over 400,000 Ukrainian refugees entered Moldova. Some of them continued their way immediately or in a period, heading for EU member states. More than 90,000 refugees, half of whom are children, remained in Moldova.
